STARTING LINEUP 6 ACTION FIGURES BASEBALL FOOTBALL BASKETBALL COLLECTIBLE NEWThe Senior Associate will champion the Federal agendas of California-based clients, as well as support the operations of the Federal office, including but not limited to, management of the office located on Capitol Hill, coordinating client visits to Washington D.C., conducting policy research and advocating for client issues and priorities to achieve desired outcomes.
Position responsibilities:
Create a robust federal agenda for clients that includes funding and policy priorities. Client agenda should result in weekly updates to the client on activity;
Strong ability to communicate to public agency clients how the activity of the federal government will impact their day to day operations;
Leverage key relationships on Capitol Hill to advance client policy and funding agendas;
Lead client strategy meetings and create the development of advocacy initiatives;
Draft external and internal communications documents including memoranda, correspondence, and position letters;

Track and report on legislative and regulatory activity including providing federal updates;
Monitor federal grant programs and administration initiatives;
Develop strong relationships with key federal agency officials that manage federal grant programs;
Draft federal grant program funding applications for client priority projects;
Attend meetings, hearings, and events on Capitol Hill;
Understand and effectively communicate the federal services that we provide through business development opportunities;
Interface directly with clients remotely and in-person;
Perform other responsibilities as necessary.
